This man is sitting on a sidewalk while chanting Buddhist sutras and spinning his handheld prayer wheel. Prayer wheels are basically a cylinder on a stick that is spun around while the user recites her mantras like “Om Mani Madme Om.” Prayer wheel comes in all sort of sizes, from handheld to huge ones that are even bigger than church bells. The spin of the wheel is supposed to help accumulate wisdom and good karma while dispelling bad karma
